For my sister Julie
In 2017, I lost my sister Julie to stage 4 glioblastoma. I'm still angry and heart broken. Julie was an amazing mother, daughter and sister. She was one of the most selfless people I knew. She would always put others before herself. Now it's my turn to put others first. Fighters, survivors, and families much like mine who were robbed of time with the ones they love. This walk is for my sister Julie.
In her honor I am participating in the Seattle Brain Cancer Walk this year. Proceeds from the Walk support ongoing brain cancer research and clinical trials in the Pacific Northwest. The physicians and specialists at The Ben & Catherine Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment work with regional experts in the field but collaborate nationally with other progressive institutions. Through this collaborative effort and with your help, we will make great strides for patients with brain cancer everywhere.
Here are two ways that you can help us get one step closer to a cure for brain cancer:
1. Walk with me and give hope to those undergoing treatment and help inspire the community into action.
2. Help me reach my fundraising goal by making a donation. Click on the "DONATE NOW" button to the right to show your support!
I'd be so grateful if you would join or sponsor me. Together, we can end brain cancer.
