Welcome to My Personal Page
This year, just as every year for the past 3 years and for all those to come, I walk in honor of Jim Hall, a college and life-long friend whom I loved, who lost his battle with brain cancer in March of 2020. You can see Jim grinning widely in the collage below, wearing his "Maui" baseball cap and blue/purple coat, as we walked on what would become our last Seattle Brain Cancer Fundraiser together. I walk also in memory of another good man whom I loved, my friend and co-worker, Ken Childs, who lost his battle with cancer in March of 2010. I am honored to be participating in the Seattle Brain Cancer Walk again this year. Proceeds from the Walk support ongoing brain cancer research and clinical trials in the Pacific Northwest. The physicians and specialists at The Ben & Catherine Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment work with regional experts in the field but collaborate nationally with other progressive institutions. Through this collaborative effort and with your help, we will make great strides for patients with brain cancer everywhere.
Here are two ways that you can help us get one step closer to a cure for brain cancer:
1. Walk with me on May 2nd, 2021 and give hope to those undergoing treatment and help inspire the community into action.
2. Help me reach my fundraising goal by making a donation. Click on the "DONATE NOW" button to the right to show your support!
My heart fills with the generosity you have shown, time and time again, when one of us is in need. I'd be so grateful if you would join or sponsor me. Together, we can END brain cancer. Live each day to its fullest, my friends! Love, laugh, be well and give thanks each day for all that you have, as I do for the blessing of you in my life!
