Welcome Friends, Family, and all who knew Diane Gamman,
Since 2014 the Overcomers have participated in the Swedish SummeRun & Walk, led by our captain Diane Gamman. My mom, Diane, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in late 2013. Diane was adamant about spreading awareness of this disease. She walked this SummeRun with purpose and determination two years straight. It is with a broken heart that I fill the captain's position for the second year, as my mom went to be with Jesus on April 5, 2016.
In honor of Diane, please consider joining the Overcomers. My mom was not fortunate enough to overcome her disease, and it left a devastating hole in many people's lives. Hopefully we can help other women overcome their battles with ovarian cancer through raising money for research.
Every person who runs, walks, comes to support the team, donates, or volunteers is helping make a positive impact on this fatal disease. The 5-year survival rate for women with ovarian cancer is 46%, according to The American Society of Clinical Oncology. Please help us raise money so more women can Overcome this detrimental disease.
Thank you for your support!
