The 2019 Swedish SummeRun & Walk

Love Cures

Welcome Friends,

We are participating in the Swedish SummeRun & Walk again for the fourth year in a row. Proceeds from the run and walk will support the life-saving work of the Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer, a Seattle-based non-profit that has become a principle catalyst for national and international research efforts aimed at finding solutions to ovarian cancer.

As many of you know, Susan has been fighting Ovarian Cancer since 2015 and she has had a rough go of it recently.  She is on the mend now though and currently not in chemo.  We are participating in the event in honor of her and our friend, Jenn Kallen, who beat Ovarian Cancer.  Our goal is to gather as many people as possible to walk with us, so please invite all of your friends, family, co-workers or anyone else you can think of to walk with us.

Since its establishment in 1996, the Rivkin Center has awarded over $10 million in research grants to scientific investigators around the world, making the organization one of the largest private nonprofit funders of ovarian cancer research in the United States.

Here are two ways that you can help us get one step closer to a cure for ovarian cancer:

1. Walk or run with me and give hope to those undergoing treatment and help inspire the community into action.  We are trying to get as many people as possible on our team-"Love Cures" is the team name

2. Help me reach my fundraising goal by making a donation. Click on the "DONATE NOW" button to the right to show your support!

I'd be so grateful if you would join or sponsor me. Together, we can end ovarian cancer.

Welcome Friends,

Our wonderful team is participating in the 2019 Swedish SummeRun & Walk for Ovarian Cancer. The SummeRun & Walk provides a powerful day of support and hope to people who are battling ovarian cancer and the people who love them. Proceeds from the run and walk will support the life-saving work of the Rivkin Center, a Seattle-based non-profit that has become a principle catalyst for national and international research efforts aimed at finding solutions to ovarian cancer.

Since its establishment in 1996, the Rivkin Center has awarded over $11 million in research grants to scientific investigators around the world, making the organization one of the largest private nonprofit funders of ovarian cancer research in the United States. The Rivkin Center also supports education and awareness for ovarian cancer and breast cancer, and early detection high-risk screening.

Please consider joining us this year by donating or signing up for our team. Every person who walks/runs, donates or volunteers is helping make a positive impact on ovarian cancer research, education, awareness, and early detection.

  • You can join my team at this year's Walk on Sunday, July 14 by clicking the "JOIN TEAM" button on the right.
  • You can also help by donating. It's easy to make a gift by clicking the "DONATE NOW" button on the right.

Thank you for your support.
