Our team, NUMERICAL DEFIANCE, is participating in the 2018 Seattle Brain Cancer Walk benefiting brain cancer research in the Pacific Northwest. This will be our 4th year participating in the Walk in honor of our son and brother, Eric Winterroth. He was diagnosed suddenly in December 2013, underwent inital tumor resection, and has endured radiation and chemotherapy with success. His most recent MRI scan revealed no change in the remaining dormant cancer cells. We walk for all patients of brain cancer, in memoriam, in honor and alongside the survivors, and for future generations.
The Walk provides a powerful day of support and hope to people in the Pacific Northwest who are battling brain cancer and the people who love them. Proceeds from the Walk support ongoing research and clinical trials at the Ben & Catherine Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment. The physicians and specialists work not only with regional experts but collaborate nationally with other progressive institutions to make the greatest impact on patients everywhere.
Please consider joining us this year by donating or signing up for our team (even the registration fee for every walker goes to brain cancer research).. Every person who walks, donates or volunteers is helping make a positive impact on brain cancer research.
You can join my team at this year's Walk on Sunday, May 6 by clicking the "JOIN MY TEAM" button on the right.
