Kenadie Is Magic
Our wonderful team is participating in the 2018 Seattle Brain Cancer Walk benefiting brain cancer research in the Pacific Northwest. We will be walking in honor of Kenadie Stewart. Kenadie was all about random acts of kindness and was especially good at befriending and shining light on children being bullied at school. She was a sweet and caring big sister and a joyful force in her family and community. Many stories have been shared about her selfless acts of kindness, her friendship, her wisdom, her bravery and her tender heart. Kenadie's Magic is living on through the random acts of kindness she has inspired others to carry out and spread far and wide. The form of cancer that Kenadie had is called DIPG, it is incurable, is extremely rare and there is a great need for research. Our team is on a mission to raise as much money as we can toward funding this research!!
The Walk provides a powerful day of support to people in the Pacific Northwest who are battling brain cancer and the people who love them. Proceeds from the Walk support ongoing research and clinical trials at the Ben & Catherine Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment. The physicians and specialists work not only with regional experts but collaborate nationally with other progressive institutions to make the greatest impact on patients everywhere.
